Roller Shutter door sensor Magnetic contact is widely used for alarm system(panel) to detect state of door or window.
It consists of reed switch part and magnet part .
NC type we define:
When door is closed, reed switch is effected by magnet and switch ON; when door is open, reed switch is effected by magnet and
switch OFF, then output signal to panel or trigger alarm.
Engineer Note: ensure that arrow on magnet lines up with dot on contact on housing for maximum operating gap and lateral tolerance.
